APMT Moín marks 6m teu milestone
APM Terminals (APMT) Moín has handled more than 6m containers since it began operations in 2018, helping to boost Costa Rican-trade.
During this period container volumes have increased from just over 1m teu in 2019 to 1.26m teu in 2023, with the average number of monthly vessel calls increasing from 12 in 2018 to more than 89 in 2023.
The terminal’s monthly vessel calls are now up to three times higher than other ports in the region.
