Terminales Marítimas de Vigo, S.L.U (Termavi) has ordered two hybrid Konecranes rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes equipped with the complete range of Konecranes Smart features.
The order was booked in Q4 2024, with delivery scheduled for Q4 2025, and are part of Termavi’s strategy to increase energy effiency, reduce its carbon footprint, protect biodiversity and improve operational efficiency.
Termavi is the main container terminal at Spain’s Port of Vigo on the country’s Atlantic coast and it has implemented a number of initiatives, including investing in the Konecranes hybrid RTGs, to achieve its aforementioned goals.
