Port Houston experiences volume rebound in March
Port Houston’s container activity represented a rebound in March after a fog-impacted February as volumes were up 7% year-on-year to 386,864 teu, marking the port’s busiest March on record.
Year-to-date container volumes at Port Houston’s public terminals have surpassed 1m teu, reaching 1.068m and essentially flat compared to last year.
Bilateral trade negotiations continue to influence supply chains, but port leadership remains vigilant.
