ONE Sparkle calls Terminal Portuario de Guayaquil on its inaugural journey
Terminal Portuario de Guayaquil (TPG) welcomed on its inaugural voyage through Latin America the ONE Sparkle, a 13,700 teu vessel equipped to enable operations with methanol and ammonia, along with systems that reduce emissions through shore power connectivity.
Operated by Ocean Network Express (ONE), the ONE Sparkle is the first of 19 vessels equipped with such technology that ONE will incorporate into its global fleet.
The call to TPG strengthens the partnership between the terminal and ONE, demonstrating the facility’s operational capacity to handle the next generation vessels.
