South Carolina Ports posts record July
South Carolina Ports recorded its strongest July on record after container volumes rose by 13% year-a-year.
The US East Coast port handled 182,411 teu over the month, beating the previous record of 177,265 teu set in July 2016.
The port has now handled 1.3m teu since the start of the calendar year began, compared to last year’s figure of 1.14m teu.
