DP World Antwerp is on the verge of finalising a €230m (US$266m) expansion plan to boost capacity by 30% in 2026 which coincides with the terminal’s 20th anniversary.
The expansion plan is designed to boost capacity at Antwerp Gateway by 30% in 2026 and includes new infrastructure, yard space and digital systems that aim to reduce emissions and strengthen multimodal links for barge and rail in addition to the added capacity.
DP World’s latest update of its terminal operating system, Zodiac, will be introduced at Antwerp in 2028 to further enhance planning, visibility and efficiency.
