Busan Port Authority (BPA) has celebrated the opening of its representative office in London this week, its third worldwide.
The South Korean port, ranked number 5 in the world by CM’s World Top Container Ports after handling 17.7m teu in 2013, already has offices in Shanghai and Tokyo.
BPA President, Ki-tack Lim, told CM: “London is a very good location from a strategic point of view. It gives us very good access to the rest of Europe. When it comes to major shipping lines, all of them are located in the European countries.
