RAM Spreaders’ SingFlex adjustable tandem headblock for single hoist ship-to-shore (STS) cranes has helped customers to reach further out onto a vessel to access more rows.
Rather than buy new cranes, to reach from 23 rows to 24 rows, one of the manufacturers customers in the Middle East opted for the RAM Tandem retrofit and achieved an extra 1,200 mm in outreach.
More than 15 ports now use the RAM tandem system to increase productivity and reduce energy usage.
