Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) recorded a positive development in revenue and earnings for the 2024 financial year, despite ongoing global challenges.
Group revenue rose almost 11% to €1.6bn (US$1.7bn), while EBIT increased by 23% to €1.4bn (US$1/5bn).
Revenue from ports logistics were up 11% to €1.56bn (US$1.67bn) thanks to a notable rise in transport volume in the intermodal segment as well as a year-on-year increase in storage charges due to longer dwell times for containers handled by the Hamburg terminals.
