CCT orders new Kuenz Freerider RTG crane for Moerdijk

Austrian crane manufacturer Kuenz has reinforced its partnership with long-term customer Combined Cargo Terminals (CCT) with a new order for a Freerider rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) crane.4

The RTG will be utilised in a manual intermodal operation and features an aerodynamic single girder coupled with a A-shape gantry structure design for best wind resistance and utmost stiffness, Kuenz’s patented Evo-hoisting system for increased reliability and container handling accuracy.

Features such as these allow Kuenz Freerider to travel with full load at full speed and, furthermore, trucks will be handled under a cantilever with 4 m useful outreach, a tailor-made solution that provides highest operation safety avoiding collision between trucks and crane (no crossing).
