Fred Kamperman, general manager at DCT Gdansk, said: “Although our new terminal, which opened for business on June 1, is primarily designed to handle container vessels, we are more than happy to be flexible if it does not inconvenience our regular customers.
“Handling cruise vessels is in fact quite straightforward, with immigration procedures carried out onboard and coaches coming onto the quay to collect or re-deliver passengers. We certainly invite enquiries from other cruise operators and we will accommodate their needs if we can.”
DCT Gdansk is well located for handling cruise ships, being an easy coach drive from the historic Old Town area of Gdansk.
