Major new all-electric ‘Greenline’ orders include six units for Kalingrad, Russia, eleven YSX40E spreaders for Xiamen, China, six units to Saigon, Vietnam and a further six to Konecranes for delivery to Turkey. In addition, Bromma has recently won smaller all-electric spreader orders for Bejaia Port, Algeria and Vladivostok, Russia.
The company has also received its first order for the 2nd generation all-electric ‘Greenline’ spreader for the Port of Lyttelton on the south island of New Zealand.
The STS45 unit is capable of single and twin-lift (20’s) operations providing greater flexibility in handling 20ft, 40ft and 45ft containers. The lighter-weight ‘Greenline’ spreader reduces crane lifetime diesel costs, requiring 90% lower spreader power consumption when compared with hydraulic yard spreaders.
